The Villisca Hauntings

The Villisca house has attracted believers of the paranormal for decades. From Ghost hunters to true crime lovers people come from far and wide to experience for themselves the hauntings that go on inside but is this house haunted or is it just an unsolved mystery.

Above is an image of a board located in the shed on the back of the Villisca property. Visitors put up photos of their paranormal encounters. There are multiple sightings of ghostly orbs appearing in various rooms in the house. As well as the faint silhouette of a young boy maybe little Paul appearing at the window. But there is one image in particular that shows just how haunted this house is.

If you look closely at the legs of the chair you can see there just not quite touching the floor. A ghost? Uneven Floor? Who knows but its definitely odd. But most of these photos come from people who spent hours at most in this house but what about the woman who owns it. What kind of paranormal activity has she seen.

Martha Lin owns the Villisca house with her late husband Darwin. When Martha was asked by RoadTrippers.com if she thought the house was haunted she pointed to a toy car sitting on the old stove. A bit earlier, she said, it had been lying on the other side of the stove, upside-down.

In conclusion we will never know if the Villisca house is truly haunted or if peoples minds are just playing tricks on them but we have to admit there sure are a lot of creepy occurrences. We hope you enjoyed and remember to lock your doors.... especially if you live in a haunted house.
