One day Karen Matthews was watching the news when for the second time in a few hours she saw a little girls face up on the television as well as two sobbing parents. Madeline Mccann was all over the news an English girl who had gone missing Her parents were making quite a bit of money. Which frankly Karen could use. Karen Matthews was in a lower class she has seven children and between them, they had five different fathers. Shannons Biological father is Leon rose but she lives with her stepfather Craig Meehan who was 22 the year of the crime Karen was 32. The family wasn’t a very warm one, and the children were neglected they weren’t given proper food, they were never made to shower, and always were dirty. Child protection was called on Karen over 5 times but they always gave her a date. That way she could clean up the house and clean the children before they came. Then she would feed them the answers to what they should say if asked about their lively hood. But how did this end in kidnap?

This case was very interesting as instead of being a case by a strange man or a killer it was by her own parents.
