There are 3 victims of this case the three Beaumont children Jane the eldest who was nine years as of the time of the abduction, Arna who was aged 7, and the baby of the family Grant who was four. They had two parents Grant “Jim” and Nancy Beaumont who had married in December 1955. Jane was described as studious, smart, and very loving of her siblings, Arna was described as the comedian of the family she had a cheeky sense of humor and made her whole family laugh, Grant was a quiet little thing who was very kind and loved his siblings very much.
On January 26, 1966, Adelaide was bursting with people celebrating Australia day, it was a hot summer’s day and the Beaumonts had just woken in a bundle of joy they asked their mother if they could go to Glenelg Beach which was a five-minute bus ride away. They had gone the previous day and Nancy and Jim weren’t worried. The times were different and their daughter was a responsible child. They ran through the rules and gave them a collection of coins. Their father grant was going on a business trip for the next three days.
The Beaumont’s haven’t seen their children since.
This case hits really close to home as we both live in Australia. The fact that their mother died never knowing is very very disturbing - Aster
