Hello everybody welcome back to another Thrilling Thursday. Today we are discussing the simulation theory a theory that proposes the idea that our lives are just a simulation. Make sure to check us out on Facebook, Tik Tok, and Instagram @oddlyunexplainedpodcast.

The simulation theory is the hypothesis that our earth and our reality are artificial more specifically that our universe is a computer simulation. The theory was popularized by Nick Bostrom who is a Swedish philosopher other important figures include Maya who is an Indian philosopher and ancient greek philosophers Anaxarchus and Monimus. It is also a very popular theme in science fiction movies such as The Matrix, Source Code, Ready Player one, Free Guy, and the Truman show. So what is the simulation theory? It suggests that a higher being or a human race created us for their research or for their enjoyment and we are simply being played or are coded.

This case was so much fun to do and is our most conversational episode ever. After recording this every time I took a big movement I thought what if i couldn't control what I did I just thought I did.
